Tirath Bhoola is a South African filmmaker and Production Designer passionate about amplifying stories through world-building and design. With a sharp eye for authenticity and detail, Tirath crafts rich, immersive environments that elevate both character and narrative.

Since 2019, he has been a key creative on Netflix’s flagship series Blood & Water, while also contributing to acclaimed productions such as Unseen (Netflix), Nerens Noord Kaap (Showmax), Mr Bones, and #Lovemyselfie (cinematic release).

His expertise extends beyond South Africa, having worked internationally with the BBC and ITV on titles including Liberty, I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, and Survival of the Fittest. Most recently, Tirath served as Production Designer on the Amazon feature Black Burns Fast, produced by award-winning company Urucu Media.
