Biography
Since my debut in the film industry, I have developed a passion for the Art Department while working as an all-around Art Assistant on television commercials. So far I have had the privilege of working with some of the best local Production Designers and Art Directors in Cape Town while assisting on many local and international TVCs.
I have previous experience in leadership roles, specifically working as a qualified rugby coach. This has equipped me with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think both critically and creatively. Having participated in sports at a high level, I can work well under pressure and execute tasks as directed by the relevant authority, therefore I am good at taking direction while also being able to take the initiative and think for myself. Additionally, I have an adept understanding of people enabling me to adapt to any team environment.
Since January 2023 I have been reinvesting my skills in the creative and dynamic Art Department. Thus far I have worked as an all-around Art Assistant, gaining experience in sourcing and buying. I have also assisted several standbys on set and worked as the primary Standby on a stills shoots.
I am a fast learner and I’m confident that with my skillset and experience, I'll be an asset to your team.
