Reneé Filipova is a passionate and detail-driven Set Decorator with a global outlook and over 20 years of experience in film, television, and commercial productions. Proudly Capetonian, Reneé's love for storytelling runs in her blood—rooted in a childhood filled with imagination, creativity, and a deep appreciation for visual narrative.
Known for her keen eye for aesthetics, storytelling through space, and ability to transform environments into immersive, character-rich worlds, Reneé collaborates closely with directors, production designers, and art departments to bring each vision to life. She has had the privilege of working with many amazing individuals across the industry and believes deeply in empowering her crew—fostering a positive, collaborative set environment where creativity and respect thrive.
From large-scale international productions to intimate indie films, she thrives on the creative and logistical challenges of decorating sets across diverse cultures and locations. Available for projects worldwide.
