
Biography
Is a Concept Artist, Set Designer, and Art Director based in Cape Town. She earned
her honours degree in Visual Communication at the Open Window Institute,
majoring in Production Design for Film and Television in 2016. Her work
emphasizes metaphor and meaning.
In recent years, she has provided 3rd-year production design students with the
skills necessary to succeed in the Art Department after graduation.
As a creative professional within the Art department, Rochelle has contributed to
numerous international features and commercials. She recently art-directed her
first feature film, Sniper: The Last Stand, collaborating closely with the construction
and scenic teams.
Her career highlights include designing various sci-fi props for Apple’s Invasion Season
2, working under Prop Master Jos Joubert.
Rochelle also set-designed her first historical feature film, Measures of Men, in
2020, which paved the way for her future projects.
Through her work, she produces detailed 3D models, photorealistic high-quality
renders, and drawings for construction, effectively bridging visual gaps between
designers, directors, and fabricators. Together, they create immersive worlds for
stories, filled with meaning, metaphor, and life.
